The most spectacular form of the Sleeping Beauty Series originated from Australia that rarely seen today, even in its homeland. It bears arching fronds that can grow to 3 ft. long and 1 ft. across, each having large teardrop-shaped, airy appearance pinnaes that are in deep pink when young.
This variety is sensitive to soggy media and wide cultural swings. Not recommend for beginners.
Similar to other varieties of Adiantum tenerum, It performs well under light shade, in a little alkaline media. Easier to prepare by adding 10% by volume of limestone chips into the regular peat-based medium.
