This dramatic specie endemics to Amazonian basin of Peru and named after its origin. It bears pink new growth before hardening into rich green fronds. Provide good light and humidity, the fronds can get over 2 ft. long! Always a popular and sought after dramatic rarer plant!
It is fairly easy and suburb for indoors, as well as a greenhouse subject. Performs well in most traditional potting mixes, even without limestone.
