Calathea picturata NEW!
This decorative specie has pale, silvery-green, ovate leaves with a dark green band around the outer edges and wine red undersides that are held singly on tall stems. Spikes of small white flowers rise occasionally, usually in summer months.
It is an easy grower-- a good choice of air purifying plants for indoor uses. Performs well in moist types of media, but allow getting slightly dry between watering.
