Adiantum tenerum "Scutum Roseum"
Rare and unusual maidenhair with very tight growth habit; small fan shaped pinnaes rise densely from very short stout creeping rhizomes. The new growth is in very attracive pink color when grown under enough light and good humidity. Seems fairly easy to grow, can form a nice 10" wide clump in a year.
It does best in peat based medium, with additional of small percentage (usually just 2-5% by volume) of limestone chips to the mix. Trimming old, yellow fronds frequently promotes production of new growth.
Offered are starter plants. established in 4" pot
