A unique species from lower part of Peninsular Malaysia to Sumatra and Java. It is most easily recognized by velvety, iridescent bluish-green, red-back foliage. Having rosette, upright growing with rather slow growth and demand lots of water make it is ideal for terrarium, particularly in dark and damp spots.
