This specie once classified as Microsorum diversifolius. Unlike other species of the genus, this specie produces hard and glossy, three-lobed fronds on black stems. The fronds also rise from slender turquoise rhizomes.


It is an easy and fast grower in warm and moist environment. Does best in most traditional potting mixes for epiphyts.
