One of the most spectacular fern in our collection and probably the biggest specie of this genus we acquired from the Philippines. Its 3-4 ft. irregularly arching fronds emerge from the surface rhizome. The fronds do not rise frequently as each need time to develop, but having just a fews leaves already make it becomes an incredible specimen!
It does best in deep pot, with well-drained media that can keep moist, but not soggy. Good humidity and air movement is a key to success. Ideally it is advised to grow under partial shade, which makes the leaves shiny and are in deep green. Placing under higher light level promotes growth, but leaf rim may burnt if humidity drops below average.
