One of our favorite desert ferns hails from limestone outcrops and slopes from Texas south to South America. Cheilanthes viridis forms a slowly expanding, 18" wide, evergreen clump of rigidly upright black-green fronds.
Like other xeric ferns, it needs high light level and very coarse, porous media. Even so, we found it does not need overly cold weatherat night.
Offered are starter plants, established in 4" pot
