An exclusive collection of our rariest ferns! Angiopteris smithii is known only from Sumatra and Borneo, occuring on steep slopes in rain forests at middle elevation. It differs from typical Angiopteris only in being once pinnate fronds that can be 8-10 ft. arise from a slender rhizome.
It requires rich, well drained soils and grows best under light shade. Humidity should above average with good air movement. Demand lots of pure water once established.
