Although Haplopteris flexuosa is considered a small species by itself, this sporeling plant performs much smaller. We have been cultivating them for 5 years and have never seen their fronds elongated over 4". The rhizomes tend to overlap each other and form a small tight clump instead.


Although having a reputation for being difficult to cultivate, it makes for an attractive conversation piece, particularly when grown as a hanging plant. Also, a good terrarium candidate.
