We are probably the first nursery succeed in growing this rare and unusual species. Elatostema salvinioides natives to China, characterized by appropriate scale of congested segment leaves on weeping stem. During wet season (June-September), foliage stretches up to 5'' and produces white cluster flowers along the stem...very incredible! Later of the growing season each stem forms new plants at base, tending a small clump.


In our cultivation they seem to do best when mounted on a slab of tree-fern with high quality sphagnum. As it is restricted to karst limestone, mixing 10% by volume of limestone powder with sphagnum is beneficial.  


Offered are multiple grown plants, established in 3" pot.
