Decorative and probably only specie of the genus from Madargascar known in cultivation. It often incorrectly called Doryopteris cordata and also known as "Antenna fern" because of its feathery fertile fronds that stand well above the adorable flat and lobed sterile fronds and form a mound on the ground.
It is a compact fern and appreciates good humidity. However, this species also seems a little water-sensitive; excess water on the foliage can encourage leaf rot. Thus, very careful watering and/or growing the plant using watering wick, or a tad on the dry side (good humidity though) seems to work best.
Offered are mature plants. established in 3" pot
