This robust specie characterized by relatively long and narrow leaves on a bushy, generally spreading rather than trailing, plant. The large red-orange flowers are produced quite freely.
It is one of a few species that tolerates for heat up to 90F/30C and lower average humidity, making an excellent basket plant for greenhouses or bright windows.
