A pretty little species obtained from Japanese plant market, with very soft lime green fronds, which terminate with large crested tips. Full-grown plant resembles a lettuce that gives fresh feeling. Fronds also heavily congest and are in over scale when compared with wiry stems.
It needs excellent air movement to prevent rot and algae buildup in the interior of these thick multi-layered fronds. Regular pruning and fertilizing promotes growth and keep it in beautiful form.
Offered are mature plants, established in 4" pot
