This new, highly ornamental species just brought into cultivation this year, was said to be from cloud, primitive forest of Northen Laos. Their stunning silvery leaves are marked with deep green stripes down to the centre and this distinctive color is not disappeared when the leaves are old. White tubular flowers occur in the middle of the rhizome, some distance from the vegetative stalk.
It stand to approx 5-6 ft. tall. Does best in peat-based medium and perform well under light shade, with relatively high humidity and good air movement.
