Previously known as Boesenbergia biloba, this compact, ground cover ginger endemics to Peninsula Malaysia. It bears lancelate leaves in deep green with unique silver markings and underside of the leaves are tinted in burgundy. Its large, white tubular flowers resembling an orchid, occur in the middle of the rhizome, some distance from the vegetative stalk.
This species is evergreen and stands to approx 5-6'' Challenge but very worth to grow. Does best in peat-based medium and perform well under partial shade, with relatively high humidity and good air movement.
