Adiantum tenerum "Siamgreen's Delights" NEW!
Our first own hybrid that have been developed for 3 years. It is a compact and tight grower with large fan shaped pinnaes and congested segment on rosette, sturdy stems. It look similar to the "Livianum", but fronds are wider in triangular outlined shape and not as tall as the Livianum can be. Under well-enough light, this hybrid stands just 5" in height. Fronds are in attractive pink when young. Well-grown plant with new growth resembles an ornametal cabbage that we call The Pompon Maidenhair :)
It does best in peat based medium, with additional of small percentage (usually just 2-5% by volume) of limestone chips to the mix. Trimming old, yellow fronds frequently promotes production of new growth.
Offered are mature plants, established in 4" pot
