This rare and highly ornamental specie said to be from Panama, with dramatically textured foliage. Its fuzzy, peltate leaves can grow to 6"-8" and are in almost black when mature! The plant also has interesting growth habit; it tends to be a shrub, but will climb if provide a supporter. Pretty little pink-lip flowers rise frequently, promoting its attraction.
It does superb in a terrarium-type setting. Perform well under medium-high light level.
