This pretty species features dark green, leathery leaves and when it flowers it displays bright orange stalks and panicles which are reminiscent of coral branches. With well care and good fertilizing, it can be a heavy bloomer and blooms throughout the year. As an epiphyt, it grows as long as it can root on a tree trunk or supporters but can be grown as a potted plant by pruning, making it becomes a small shrub.
It does best in epiphyt potting mix with careful watering. Performs well in moist, semi-shaded conditions (bright filtered light or light shade).
