A unique epiphytic fern restricted to karst limestone, creeping on shady cliffs. It bears leathery finely lacy fronds in deep forest green on blackish stems. In suitable condition, new plantlets emerge along the edges of the frond...very cool! Matures to approx. 1-1.5 ft. tall and 1 ft. wide clump.


Does best in coarse, porous media such as sphagnum based medium with additional bark or perlite. Adding limestone chips seems beneficial, will promote growth and prevent rotting.
