Drynaria is a related genus of aglaomorpha, consist of mostly large fern endemic throughout the tropics. It striking with two types of frond. Apart from the large long fertile frond, they have shory, rounded frond with crocodile texture, which also called shield frond.
This genus is hardly epiphytic fern thrive in almost all potting formulas. The key to success is allow the medium getting fairly dry between watering. Without too much water you will see they spread fast and healthy.
Most species are seasonal plant; some will be leafless, others are stop growing during late December-early April. In this dormancy time, do keep the medium slight moist (water weekly or so).
