Psilotum is a group of primitive ferns that remains only two species; Psilotum nudum and Psilotum complanatum. Both have stiff stems resembling a broom. Typically They are rather slow but fairly easy growers. Does best in coarse, porous soil where they spread through underground rhizomes and via spores. Psilotum complanatum requires constant, higher humidity and lower light level than Psilotum nudum.
