This type includes a number species of Dryopteridaceae and Polypodiaceae, which grow well even in less than average humidity. Many are hardy winter and also tolerate for some neglect once established though low growing.

Dryopteris
A genus of mostly large ferns. The long, arching fronds rise from large underground rhizome. Some are semi-deciduous. Others are evergreen but need to keep warm during winter months. Like perfect drainage, good light and air movement.
Oleandra
This genus of primitive ferns occur throughout the old tropics, characterized by velvety foliage and attractive airy roots.
Phymatosorus
Hardy and unique ferns. Our selection is rare and unusual species/varieties. Some are very spectacular plant when well care. Many make splendid specimens.
Polypodium
A large genus of epiphytic ferns. Many seems fairly easy, while some are rather challenge, but worth to grow because of their dramatic foliage.
