This truly amazing fern is a natural variegation--the regular form has deep green leaves. It hails from somewhere between Thailand and Malaysia border and have been cultivating for a couple of years, but still rarely offered. The typical lacy green leaves are speckled with silvery band down to the center. The new growth are a stunning purple with silver stripes along the vein lines and tips. Can grow to approx. 2 ft. tall.
It is somewhat a low growing fern and seems resentful of fluctuations on wide cultural swings...Challenge but worth to grow! Does best in very good drainage, relatively high humid under partial shade. Limited supply!
