Adiantum reniforme var. Sinense
Adiantum reniforme are a group of strange maidenhair ferns from their single, rounded fronds which cannot be seen in other species. Its global dispersed distribution with widely separated populations that have evolved separately and have given rise to local varieties, suggests the great antiquity of Adiantum reniforme that several million years ago. Today it is classified in 6 varieties and this is only the one occurs in Asia! in China, with only four small populations known from the region of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. Asian's reniforme differs from the major population in Africa by having large concentric bold imprint on the leaves, making it shows nice iridescent sheen when touches some angle of light!
