Unique form of this widespread specie, with large gracefully fan shaped, curling downward pinnules resemble ginklo leaf. Can form 15" high and 10" wide clump, but rather slow growing and does not produce spores in cultivation.


It does best in peat based medium, with additional of small percentage (usually 10% by volume) of limestone chips to the mix. Trimming old, yellow fronds frequently promotes production of new growth.
