This unusual maidenhair appropriately named with pinnules curling downwards as if sleeping. New fronds are in attractive bright pink before eventually changing into orange and rich green. Taller grower matures to approx. 2 ft. in height. 


It does best in peat based medium, with additional of small percentage (usually 10% by volume) of limestone chips to the mix. Trimming old, yellow fronds frequently promotes production of new growth.
