A fairly new showy Indonesian specie from limestone areas of Central Sumatra. Now is still quiet rare in cultivation. Its hallmark is pointed, succulent fronds in bluish-green color rise from short creeping rhizome. Can make 10" high and wide clump, but very slow growing.


It requires relatively high humidity to grow well, thus, performs well in most terrarium conditions. Like so many of similar cliff/crevice dwelling species, great care should be exercised to not overwater. Adding a percentage of limestone chippings into the growing mix is recommended; promote growth and leaf color.
