This strange fern was collected on the Himalaya foothills in Northern Myanmar. It bears sturdy, deep toothed fronds in pale green with small hairs scattered on the surface and undersides. It spreads by short stout rhizomes and can form new plants at base when mature.
Its fronds can grow to 12" long and appreciates good humidity - thus lending itself to terrariums / vivariums. However, this species also seems a little water-sensitive: excess water on the foliage can encourage leaf rot. Thus, very careful watering and/or growing the plant a tad on the dry side (good humidity though) seems to work best
