This newly introduced specie from forest understory of Northern Borneo. It looks similar to Selaginella picta or Selaginella wallichii, but obviously a different specie, with nice bronze color and amazing purple sheen! Its habit can be up to 6" tall, but also rambles and readily roots along becoming a spreading mat. Even so, it never invasive nor rampant.
It does well as a terrarium specimen but needs good light to do well. As such, it also may be grown as a stunning accent in a warm humid greenhouse.
