Formerly known as Mapania caudata. It is a very cool terrarium plant in family of Cyperaceae endemic to Peninsular Malaysia. Its hallmark is dark narrow strap leaves with heavy metallic blue sheen, even without flash! This makes it very worth to grow though it is rather a challenge plant. Need warm, extra humidity and partial shade to grow well. From our experience it does best in perlite based medium with a little peat or sphagnum.
