An unusual species that look far different from other species in the genus, because of its quilted and serrated, dark, bronze-green, papery foliage. Flowers are in bright orange, which cannot be seen in other species. Despite a taller grower up to 10-12", it easy branches to fill in limited space.
Its requirement of high humidity and lower light makes it becomes an excellent specimen for terrariums and other small containers.
