One of the most sought after Maidenhair ferns. Its story can be back to the 17th century https://www.jstor.org/stable/1547312 This variety is a large grower, forming attractive weeping fronds, reaching 2 ft. with broad leaves. Our plants are cloned from Kew Botanical Garden by rhizome propagation, which is way we use to produce our plants, as it is rarely seen spores in cultivation. Hence, we always have in small quantity.
Similar to other varieties of Adiantum tenerum, It performs well under light shade, in a little alkaline media. Easier to prepare by adding 10% by volume of limestone chips into the regular peat-based medium.
