This new, unidentified specie was collected on Cameron Highlands, Peninsular Malaysia the current consensus is still cannot be found elsewhere. It share someting associated with Davallia repens by having more finely dissected leaves in the same size (approx. 1.5-2'' across) rise from wiry creeping rhizomes. Undersides of the leaves are covered with red brown scales.


Despite low growing, it seems fairly easy. Does best in relatively high humidity under light shade.
