The biggest moss of our collection, would be specie of Polytrichaceae family collected from Cameron Highlands, Malaysia. They do not form a clump, instead spores sprout and rise individually from ground. Their long, feathery stem can grow to 2.5'' and are in deep green. Once reached mature size, each plant usually forms a few new plants at base.
In cultivation this moss can grown on most material, but seems to do best on humus-rich soil or peat-based medium
