This rarely seen form has long weeping, with very slender fronds (1 cm. across) on wiry stems, reaching 2 ft. The nice lance shield frond usually rise at the beginning of its growing season.


Perform well both in a basket and mounted on a tree-fern plaque. Particularly for basket culture, try to use coarse, porous media and keep fairly dry between watering. This species is a seasonal plant that rests (leafless) from late December to early April. It is advise to reduce water just to keep the media slightly moist during the dormancy period.
