This spectacular fern would be considered the most beautiful form of Drynaria rigidula. Its origin is still mysterious. Our selection cloned from plants cultivated in South Florida. As see in the pictures, what make it very gorgeous is long weeping fronds each having deeply erect leaflet in bright green. The fronds can get over 3 ft. long when well care! Seem fairly easy though rather low growing. Does well both in pot and mounted on a slab of tree-fern. If grown in pot, try to use very coarse, porous media. This specie is a seasonal plant has dormancy period (leafless) during December-March and need less water (just enough to keep media around roots moist).
Offered are mature plants, established in 4" pot
