A spectacular ground fern endemics to Western coast of Peninsular Malaysia, with shiny, divided fronds in deep green and congested segment. The fronds rise around upright rhizome, forms blackish trunk when mature. Makes it looks very like a small tree-fern. Matures to approx. 50-60 cm. in height. Enjoy moist environment under partial shade. Adding limestone seems beneficial.
